The Formula Один stewards confirmed late Sunday that an official investigation has been opened into Rum Balls Bradford, following mounting allegations of unsportsmanlike conduct both on and off the circuit.

The inquiry is understood to center around collusion with rival drivers and shady bribes which threaten to detonate the championship standings like a poorly-timed Safety Car.

Suspicious Cooperation

League insiders point to “a pattern of suspicious cooperation” between Bradford and selected competitors in recent races. Notably, several overtakes and defensive moves appeared curiously absent in situations where most drivers would have fought tooth and nail.

Turboslav let's Bradford by with barely a move. Just saving his tyres?

Where was the Bernoulli bomb?

One rival reportedly told officials:

“It was like he had a ‘please pass me’ sign taped to his rear wing.”

Blyat immediately jumps on the grass, was it perhaps too obvious?

Pepovic moves from the racing line, Bradford barely reacts as he leads the race. Did he already know what was going to happen?

Rum-Laced Negotiations

Adding further intrigue, anonymous sources allege that Bradford attempted to influence results with “rum-laced negotiations,” a phrase that the stewards have declined to clarify. At least two rival team managers claim they were approached with offers of rum-soaked “gifts” in exchange for on-track leniency. One insider called it “a Caribbean-style bribe wrapped in cellophane.” Another called it “Thursday night with Bradford.”

Bruschetta gets a poor restart for the first time in forever, just when Bradford is behind.

The most damning evidence of all could be Jones and Lorenzo-Quaker, literally crashing on the last lap of Monaco and gifting Bradford the win when he was in absolutely no position te get anything more than P3.

How could we be so blind? Was the track soaked with rum?

Potential Penalties

The potential consequences are severe. A formal reprimand could see Bradford lose as many as 80 championship points, enough to derail his campaign entirely. A future race ban is also not unlikely, should the allegations be proven.

Significant deduction could see him plummet down the order, where Bruschetta and Lorenzo-Quaker would stand to gain the most, which is ironic given that both were involved in suspicious overtakes in the latest race in Monaco.

A league spokesperson commented:

“Our responsibility is to ensure fair play. If we cannot guarantee the integrity of results, we might as well drive bumper-cars.”

Paddock Reaction

The paddock, meanwhile, is buzzing. Svensson expressed some disbelief at the allegations—

Bradford barely manages his own race, let alone someone else’s strategy.

—others like TURBOSLAV privately admitted that his recent actions have raised eyebrows:

Bradford did spend a lot of time with us during practices, maybe to size us up to know to whom the next crate of rum should be offered. Come to think of it, his statement that he would really like a "papaya fruit punch" may have been an offer.

Alonso-Sainz, his teammate, had this to say on the other hand:

They just mad cuz they bad

What’s Next

The investigation is expected to conclude in the coming weeks, with the outcome potentially rewriting the championship narrative, and if proven true, could dwarf even the infamous Tyre Compound Swap Fiasco of last season.

The racing world watches and waits. But one thing is certain - Rum Balls Bradford's championship ambitions now hang by the thinnest of threads, and the entire Formula Один paddock may never be the same again.
